Well it has been a whirl wind to say the least. Here is my update: covered 2 jobs for months of February and March, I finally got registered at Babies R' Us and all the cutesie store in town, Adam moved offices, Adam cleaned, painted and repaired the new office, had 3 baby showers that were awesome, 1 more to go, I wrote thank you notes, I am still writing thank you notes for all of the sweet gifts we have received, mom and dad came for a visit, Adam and dad built Luke two awesome closets that I am secretly jealous of, I found curtains for Luke's room, Adam's been working to refinish a desk to go into Luke's room he only lacks a few coats of varnish, mom and Margaret came to visit, I found out I have gestational diabetes, I was put on a VERY low carb diet and told to check my blood sugar 4 times a day, I had a very bad week dealing with my new "diet", the living room and more importantly Luke's room is finished being painted and my feet are swelling!
Now my list of things to get done hopefully before he arrives:
We start our birthing classes on Monday the 5th I know we are pushing it, prepare my bag (and Adam's) for the hospital, clean the carpets in our room and the baby's room, put the baby's room together, get things with work squared away, go online to order those items I will be needing very soon, after my last shower on the 11th I will need to go to buy any of the items I still need, there is more but my mind has gone blank! I am officially overloaded and starting to get nervous about the lack of control I have over this whole process. For a control freak it is quite unnerving! Too bad he will not be checking my schedule when he decides it is time! I know everything will work out but I am still getting nervous about it all.
I will post pictures of the nursery once I get it put together; hopefully by the end of the weekend.
Waiting on responses!
